I thought I saw Him
Staring at me from Heaven
Ah, a bit of mythology and skepticism in play here. Excellent.

What Rose said.
A nice piece.
Thanks very much, Alan.
Perhaps, Thoth was looking down at one of his mortal counterparts! (Following the myth that He was the scribe of the underworld)
Loved the haiku…:-)
Oh, thank you so much for understanding what I was trying at! I wrote the haiku from a place of writer’s block. My prayers have been answered. 🙂
Great… so, I’m expecting the next part soon… part 5 of your series… 🙂
Hopefully within the week. I definitely owe it to you. 🙂
We all owe to each other, in some way or another… 🙂
This is true.
I am smiling..(in a good way thought)..i teach literature, that’s why..
Thanks very much for reading.
This is all new to me. Thoth apparently created himself. Interesting. “Scribe of the underworld.” I thought that was Quentin Tarantino. Sorry, that’s underbelly. My mistake.
Not to downplay the genius of this piece, of course. 😉
I would like to have Quentin’s money, and he can have my genius.
I’m his smallest fan. I lie. I’m not a fan at all.
I quite like his movies, but I can see why many people don’t.
