  5. While there are many haiku that work well in haibun or haiga, there are not so many that really work well all alone.  This is one of them.

  7. The glowing image of the moon reflected in the darkness of the well made me shiver. Eerie and strangely calming, as well. I love your use of “nimbus”.

      Many thanks. I was looking at the moon one night, and I said, “Hey. moon. Nice nimbus.” And the moon said, “How about giving me a shout out in one of them poems?” I took it from there.
