Now this conjures up wonderful images

  2. I sense a hint of dark in your last two haiku, and I think that’s marvelous! Is it curragh or currach?

    Oceans hide their secrets well.

The dark would be your influence on me.
Both curragh and currach are correct. The latter is probably closer to the correct pronunciation, but the it’s a softer sound from the back of the throat. Thank you for reading.

  3. I think this is what is meant by “eerily peaceful”…. I like it, despite the nagging question of what happened to the fisherman, and my suspicion that there are tentacles waving under the surface. But maybe that’s just me.
